I meant to stay two days and ended up staying over a week here. La Paz is a GREAT city–and I don’t even like cities!!!

I spent a couple of days running around to embassies getting visas, getting more pages added to my US passport, jumping through hoops with UPS to get my tires out of customs etc…

…and then I fell down.

I got hit so hard by an intestinal parasite I ended up in the hospital and IN BED for most of the last week. Today I could eat real food (although my gut still wants to liquify it).

Tomorrow? I ride. It has a terrible name but let’s just say it’s Bolivia’s most famous road…
