I spent 4 days in Antigua and met some wonderful people, including Maggie, who is on a similar spiritual path as I.  We went for a long hike together one day (1ok!), and then she got me invited to a private Mayan ceremony that was just incredible.

They were celebrating the New Year as well as the anniversary of the signing of the peace accords ending the civil war in Guatemala in 1996.
