Signs Along the Way

Imagine packing up and leaving everything behind.

Imagine concentrating on your most basic, essential needs.

Imagine that you have only one thing to do all day long.

Imagine that your one and only job is to take extremely good care of yourself.

Imagine leaving all your technology behind (if you choose). No cell phones ringing, no GPSes beeping, no emails dinging.

Imaging walking 12-18 miles every day, surrounded by like-minded people, all with a common goal.

Imagine what realizations you can have about your own life, your place in the world, your patterns (as you intentionally place yourself outside of them for a period of time.)

Welcome to your Camino Experience.

I could go on and on about  my Camino experience, and perhaps I may in a future book. But life, as usual, continues on, and since I have been back home now for a couple of weeks I need to complete that experience in this blog so I can move on to more current events. First, however, there are a few last things I want to share.

Imaging walking 12-18 miles every day, surrounded by like-minded people, all with a common goal.

How do you know where to go? Follow the yellow arrows. What if you miss these important signs? Just like in “real” life, if you miss the clue, walk the wrong path, eventually you figure it out and you get back on track.
