Fascinating Israel

Well, by the time you read this I will probably be in the air headed to Tel Aviv for my first visit to Israel. I am so excited! I’ve been packing all week, ordering some new kit (equipment), and finishing up some projects that need to be completed before I leave.

I’ve never been to Israel, and so I feel very fortunate to be able to ride motorcycles there. I’ll be on an Edelweiss Bike Travel scouting tour, and that’s in conjunction with Tamar Mediterranean Bike Tours.

This is where we’ll be exploring:

The itinerary:

9 DAYS VACATION
6 DAY RIDING ROUTE
1 DAY OF SIGHTSEEING

DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN TEL AVIV

DAY 2 Tel Aviv – Mt. Hermon

DAY 3 Mt. Hermon – Haifa

DAY 4 Haifa

DAY 5 Haifa – Jerusalem

DAY 6 Sightseeing Jerusalem

DAY 7 Jerusalem – Desert camp

DAY 8 Desert camp – Tel Aviv

DAY 9 DEPARTURE FROM TEL AVIV

We’ll be riding in mountains, deserts, and seeing some of the oldest places on earth. And Jerusalem? Well, I feel that something big, perhaps some big insight or ‘aha’ awaits me there…

For the curious, here’s the link to the tour page: https://www.edelweissbike.com/en/allTours/true/cont/asi/explore-israel.html

I’m still on the fence about lugging my computer around, so you may have to wait until I get back for any blog posts about it.

Thanks for following me on this incredible journey!
