Several summers ago Edward introduced me to soaking in Hot Springs. It was on our summer-long motorcycle adventure and boy, was I relieved to get the grime off as we’d been traveling on the small bikes and camping the entire summer.  We’re not those crazy-nudist-pot-smoking-hotpot-soakers (and we’ve met some)–we’re just “normal” folks that like par boiling ourselves in mineral water. Edward introduced me to Hot Springs, and I have to say I am sooooooooo glad. We didn’t have that many back East, but here in the West there are lots. Idaho is an amazing place to be in the summertime…it seems that the sunshine is endless.I’ve been back two weeks and haven’t yet seen rain. It’s a dry climate (when we moved into this house I didn’t even buy a clothes dryer! ) Riding is superb, and it would seem almost endless. Between Google Earth, the GPS, and the DeLorme Idaho Guides, you can chart a course almost anywhere via the road less traveled. Oh and the hot springs? There are lots. Check out this one we camped next to last weekend:  Read More →
